Vic: Federal Govt oppose alcoholic iceblocks

MELBOURNE, Jan 13 AAP - The federal government and consumer groups have condemned a plan to
market alcoholic iceblocks in Australia.

Federal Health Minister Michael Wooldridge said the proposal was stupid and said he would
do all he could to stop it going ahead.

"I couldn't believe that anyone could be so stupid," Dr Wooldridge told reporters today.

"We'll be doing everything we possibly can to see that this is not a success on the
market."
