NSW: Hannanprint to close -- 200 jobs lost
A major printing firm in the regional New South Wales town of Dubbo will be shut next
week, costing 200 workers their jobs.
Australian Manufacturing Workers Union secretary AMANDA PERKINS says Hannanprint has
announced it will shut its Dubbo plant on December 14.
Ms PERKINS says Hannanprint is the second largest employer in the city.
NSW Parliament last week heard the plant was forced to close its Dubbo operation because
two magazines, including top-selling weekly Woman's Day and Fairfax's Sunday Life, changed
format.
Comment is being sought from Hannanprint.
