Qld: Fatal car crash near driver training centre
A man in Queensland died in a car accident on his way to picking up his civil celebrant
wife from a funeral service.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman says the man, aged in his 60s, died in a
three-vehicle accident at Mount Cotton, in Brisbane's south-east, about 11.40am (AEST).
She says the man died before officers could free him from the wreck.
It's believed the man was on his way to pick up his wife who was presiding at a funeral.
A male truck driver in his 30s fractured his arm in the crash and was taken to Logan
Hospital for treatment.
The male driver of a utility, aged in his 50s, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital
with chest injuries and two broken legs.
Police are investigating.
