LONDON -- Confectionery Manufacturing Expo (CME), a new trade show exhibiting ingredients, services, and processing and packaging machinery for confectioners, has been slated for April 27 to 29, 2004, in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The show has garnered support from European trade associations and manufacturers. David Zimmer, secretary general of CAOBISCO, says the event "is very much in the interests" of the association's membership. At press time, the show's advisory board, which is expected to be finalized by May, included senior personnel from several major European candy manufacturers.
